Introduction to Web Programming

Instructor: Computing Kids*

Have you ever wondered how websites like Facebook or YouTube are created? In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of web design and use them to create your own web page. Beginning with HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), the backbone of web design, you will learn how to structure content and insert text, images and links. You will then style your page using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to change fonts, add borders and color, and much more. By combining these two languages you will be equipped to build and design your own stunning web pages!

Prerequisite: Some programming experience is strongly recommended.
