Computer Programming in Java II

Instructor: Jack Straub

This class targets students who already have spent some time programming. Computer Programming in Java I, or equivalent experience, is required. This course will extend the student’s knowledge of programming fundamentals, concentrating on object-oriented subjects. Computer science concepts taught in the course include:

  • Exception handling
  • Graphical User Interfaces
  • Designing your own classes
  • Polymorphism

This class cannot be taken concurrently with Java I. Students should expect a class that moves at a fast pace. Sections are not sequential. Multiple sections are offered to accommodate more students.
