Introduction to Engineering Design & Process

This class will introduce you to engineering design and communication principles through a project-based approach that stresses teamwork, design process, specialties and tools of engineering, creative and analytical thinking, professionalism and openā€ended problems. Concepts introduced will include: reverse engineering, basic electricity and the fundamentals of sensors, actuators and robotics. Students will work on a culminating project with the last day reserved for an open house and presentations for family and friends.

There are no prerequisites. Students should come to class with an open mind and a willingness to participate fully!
